An Irish Sojourn with Brian O'Donovan and Robbie O'Connell
May 5-14, 2009
 Join us in May 2009 for our sixth annual WGBH LearningTour to Ireland as we set our sights on the best of the west! A Celtic Sojourn host Brian O'Donovan and singer/songwriter Robbie O'Connell will guide us through Connemara, Galway, and the Aran Islands, sharing their knowledge of the finest sights, sounds, and tastes of Ireland.
 Best of all, we'll be steeped in the traditional music of Ireland. Brian and Robbie will discuss Irish music and its players, and introduce us to their favorite songs and tunes. We'll end each day with a lively traditional Irish "session," where we'll frequently be joined by special guests, including some of the best musicians in Ireland.
